As Promised; The Apartment Progress

SOON TO BE KITCHEN:

New plumbing...

New walls...

We are painting the kitchen white...

This is going to be the kitchen nook. With a little bench for Andreas
to sit while I do the cooking ;)

We have chosen our kitchen from danish Kvik. It has clean lines and the design is modern. Can´t wait till it is done... I´m pretty sure I will spend a whole lot of time here....
(since I love to cook and bake)!

SOON TO BE LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM:

Living room with a balcony
(this angle makes it look smaller that it actually is)...
We are going to polish the floor and oil it!

We are going to paint the walls in the living room grey.
Either S1500N or S2000N. What do you think?
(S1500N is the one to the left and S2000N is the one in the middle)

This is going to be the place for our dining table. The room inside is the kitchen.
(Also here the angle makes it look a little smaller than it actually is).

SOON TO BE HALLWAY:

We are getting new walls here
(since the bricks are "fake")

Also, we are getting a new floor,
tiles that almost looks like concrete...

SOON TO BE MASTER BEDROOM:

New radiators.
We are going to build them in...

We are off course getting new walls here...

SOON TO BE GUEST ROOM:

At this moment it is storage for our kitchen...

And again, we are getting new walls here.
Also we are going to polish the floor
(yes there is a floor under there, believe it or not)
and paint it.

SOON TO BE HALLWAY NUMBER TWO:

Here we are getting the same flooring (tiles)
as in the other hallway so they will
get attached to each other.

We where also supposed to renovate the bathroom, but we have to put that on hold, since they are supposed to renovate the entire plumbing system in the building. I think it is a bit sad, but thank goodness we had not stared on that yet. (If we had, we had to destroy it all, waste of money).

So, as you can see we have a LOT of work left. But we are getting closer (baby steps). I am very excited about it, but also exhausted because we have to move out from where we live now. But thankfully we have a place to stay until we can move in...

Stay tuned for more updates to come...

  2. Dear Marie, Thanks so much for the idea of visiting Notting Hill. Never been there but I'll see to it that it changes upon my next visit! A great idea! Your pictures look like pure excitement! I am so curious to see what you are making out of it... I think it is on a good way! Bye for now and big hugs, Christa

  5. Lykke til med oppussing og innredning. Strevsomt, men samtidig spennende vil jeg tro.

  7. Oi så spennende. Må være utrolig moro (og slitsomt, men det glemmer man litt) å kunne gjøre alt akkurat som man vil ha det... Gleder meg til å følge med videre.

(og likte kanskje best fargen i midten?)

    Klem Kirsti
